Double Delight

OMGosh i here you say - if its not a drought its a flood. Two posts in one day. Don't get excited it won't happen again too quickly but i am really starting to feel like i am getting back on top of things again.

I must admit i am starting to get a little ...hmmmm nervous is not the right word.. but thinking a lot about South Africa. Sooo excited about going and taking workshops but also a little apprehensive at the same time... Anyway the countdown is on and its now not that far away.

Anyway i have a couple more layouts to share. These three were made purposely for my three big frames in the hallway. Therefore this is why there is 'bulk' bits on them. Actually there isn't much else - i couldn't help myself when i saw all the new prima flowers at Chandon the other night when i was there teaching and so - as the saying goes "in one hand and out the other" - i had to have them all. The prima flowers are absolulety gorgeous. There actually are heaps of other ones but i was a little slow and Raqual had already sold out of them - though Im sure they will be restocked soon enough in time for me to spend again. Anyway you just have to imagine them in the three big black frames in my hallway and trust me when i say i like they way they look there.

Challenge: Im going to leave you with something that challenged me at church this morning and hope that it may mean something to you.
We are so fortunate to live where we do and enjoy the FREEDOM we have in this western society but as our pastor said many of us are so bound up more than others from places that don't have this freedom - and many of them, who have far less are happier ("free-er")than we are.
We get so caught up with consumerism, materialsim, bound up with money issues, comparing ourselves to others, trying to live up to other peoples standards and basically just caught in the rat race and not really being free at all. Are we really free if we are always trying to keep up with the Jones and impress others - are we really letting others see the real us?
We all have so much to offer - so much potential - so much to give...
Who is the real me? Where do I draw my identy from? Have a think about it. I know it has challenged me

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment
