What an unreal day. We got up earlier than yesterday and drove to the local Deer and Emu farm. We arrived just prior to its opening and the kids were able to feed the baby goats with bottles. The little baby goats, Emily and Sue were definately favorites with the girls. They all got buckets of feed each and fed the rest of the deer, goats, emu and ostriches. Lots of funny incidents and a great way to start the day. They weren't too sure of the ostriches as their necks were so long they they just dived into the buckets but it sure was funny to watch. We went went onto Beechworth, yep and the famous Bakery for lunch, naturally and then Gapstead wineries on the way home. Finished off the day by the fire again totally exhausted but looking forward to what tomorrow will bring. The weather is about to warm up - well to around 20 which is better than today but at least it hasn't rained, ...well during the day anyway.
