Brisbane Scrapbook Expo Update

I can’t believe its already been more than a week since we returned from Brisbane.  Where has the time gone.  Guessing it has something to do with being really busy at work getting ready for our Retailers Day.  and no doubt many of you have either been or getting ready to go to one of the Tim Holtz workshops down here in Oz.  We are very fortunate to have the guys visit and from all reports everyone has really enjoyed themselves. Im looking forward to catching up with the guys in Melbourne so if you there it will be great to catch up and say Hi.
Now back to Brisbane, Christina (Sales) and I spent the weekend in Brissy and had a great time teaching for Scrapapple at the Scrapbook expo.  As usual it was really busy but i think because the man himself was there people were extra excited and it seemed to be heaps busier than normal.

It was a little sad that it will was the Scrapapple girls last show but as one door closes another opens, so i truly wish both you Louisa, Angela and Stacey all the best for your next adventure.  We had a blast and it was lovely catching up with familiar faces and meeting some new ones.  Thank you to all the girls who took my class.  It was booked out really early and I understand a few missed out but for all you guys who missed out, it will be one of the classes i will be taking at Paperific in August.  This time teaching for Scrappy Hollow so check out their website for more details and other classes in the next few weeks.
As per usual your girls were fantastic it was encouraging to see you all enjoying yourselves and having fun.  Thanks again for making my visit really memorable.

Had a lovely chat to Louise Nelson and I really look forward to your visit down here so we can get dirty and play with all these products and cant wait for you to  teach me a few new techniques.  There were times when i wish i could have sat in on other tutors classes.
Anyways all good things must come to an end but would someone local please explain to me what the above sign means??? it was cool though.. and then there was the green car – they did try to give me a blue one but if you know me well enough that is just not my favourite colour.
Hope you all have a great week
Mel
