For all those who have a DREAM.

If you have girls then you have probably heard this song (many times over) - but this is the song that is going through my head at the moment and I can't get it out. Maybe it has to do with my three little girls singing it non stop - but I sure hope as they grow up these words stick in their minds.

Try to forget that it is a teeny bopper singing this and CLOSE YOUR EYES and listen to these words (or read them below) and for any of you like myself who have dreams you want to see fulfilled - I sure have a list of them - I hope this means something to you as it did for me.
Ive always believed if you dream it you can do it but unfortunately it doesn't necessarily happen overnight - as the song says - its about the climb.

ENJOY!!!!

The Climb lyrics
I can almost see it
That dream I am dreaming
But there's a voice inside my head saying
"You'll never reach it"

Every step I'm taking
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking

But I gotta keep trying
Gotta keep my head held high

There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes might knock me down
But no, I'm not breaking

I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I'm gonna remember most, yeah
Just gotta keep going

And I, I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on

'Cause there's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb, yeah!

There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Somebody's gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb, yeah!

Keep on moving, keep climbing
Keep the faith, baby
It's all about, it's all about the climb
Keep the faith, keep your faith, whoa

Now to share afew photos from my past trip that i have kept saying i will post and somehow keep finding it hard to get time to sort them all out.

I have managed somehow though to finish and send away my first ever photo book. I sure hope it turns out OK as it wasn't cheap but it will be a great memento of my time in Kichaka. Here are a couple of the pages. As you can see no real scrapping, i have left the photos to do all the talking.

I know these are just animals but when you see them up so close and personal it really was such an awesom experience. Below is the group of us that got to share this experience together.

Wow Melissa, this music video made me cry. It's funny that you should post this today because 4 months ago my oldest son was diagnosed with Aspergers and today I found out it looks as though my youngest son also has it. It does seem like it's an uphill battle but I know the struggles will make me a better person in the end.

Hi Mel. Of course we have beds! We need to organise this trip out here next year. The dates are the 16th - 18th July. Does that suit??? I'll do an official invite on fancy letterhead one day - but pencil it in!! Enjoy the weekend...
