Duchess Collection and other bits and pieces

Check out this layout , this is from Hilary from New Zealand. - what a fun layout using the new Pina Colada collection. I really hope if anyone else reading this does something in one of our new ranges you upload them to the Kaiser Gallery for everyone to see. Thanks Hil for all your compliments but seriously I am no different to you and lots of other scrappers around - and FYI - I love your blog and dropping by to see what you have been up to.

Now for a few more things to show you. For those of you who have the new Kaiser mag then you have seen this layout Im about to show you. It was inspired by the following layout by Rachelle Minett who did for us whilst she was on the Kaiser DT . I just love her fun style of scrapbookingI used a similar technique featuring the new Duchess Collection. The colours are so versatile in this range, thatit can be used for so much more than just heritage layouts which it was designed for. It can be used for anything, include little boys.... Isn't Charlie just gorgeous. He is one of our friends little boys and he is soooo cute.

This is what I love about scrapbooking. You can pick up so many ideas from others and by simply changing a few things your lost mojo can return.. We all have our days when we need a little help so that is when its time to look at sketches or just go visit a a blog of someone who inspires you. Sketches are great too - On the Kaisercraft blog we have started Saturday sketches so make sure you drop over each Saturday for a little inspiration from our talented contributing desgin team and have a go at creating a layout from the sketch shown for that week.

Anothr little project I made recently used the Bay Windows Beyond the Page product. The very talented Lynette Carrol from K & Co created a gorgeous clock for a class she taught at a Scrapbook Expo last year which I did and just loved it. When I saw the little clock embroidered badge from the Duchess range I thought i would have another go at it but this time using the Duchess Collection.

Wow! I didn't expect to see my LO when I opened your blog!! I thought at first there was something wrong with my eyesight LOL. Thank you, I feel very honoured, and you've made my day :-) I adore your Bay Windows project using Duchess - doesn't it fit perfectly with those heritage photos? I'm currently working on something with these papers too - hope to finish it today.
