Non Stick Scissors - who says!!!!!

It feels like forever since my last post. Will have to admit I have come down from the clouds and my holiday is well and truly over and very much back into the swing of things at work. So much for the Queensland tan too, it just washes off in the shower, how depressing.....

Anyway have to tell you about my day yesterday. Have you ever had one of those days where you really should have just listened to your instincts. Well that was yesterday. I felt pretty lousy waking up and didn't really want to go to work, but poor ol' Tom would have killed me if I didn't show up as we have so much on. Anyway I was cutting out something with my pair of Honey Bee (NON STICK) scissors but guess what?????????????? Thanks Jane for the recommendation for these (they cut great!!!!) Stuff got stuck on them everywhere and they wouldn't work so what does Melissa do??? Well she thoughts it would be a good idea to clean them with her thumb???? Come on, I was only trying to rub off the sticky stuff - well I can't vouch for them being non stick but if you are looking for a pair of scissors that can just carve up flesh exceptionally well these are the scissors you want - so well you don't feel it until the blood is going everywhere. After a visit to the casulty section at my doctors surgery (thanks Richelle for driving me) I was back at work with a sore arm (blinkin' doctur gave me a tetnus injection - so I now can cut, stab, slice myself with the dangerous tools I work with, safely for the next 10 years without a risk of infection). Scrapbooking is hazardous to your hands.

Goodness me ... fancy you cleaning your scissors with your thumb. I tell you Lis ... it is karma girl for laughing so hard when I caught my thumb in the desk. And see ... even your left thumb.
But on a serious note ... I am glad you are ok. It was a pretty nasty cut.
Yea good one Jane - recommending life threatening scissors to us LOL!

OMG! I have those exact scissors and the number of times I have cleaned sticky stuff off with my thumb is too many to count! Non-stick - yeah right. What a porky that one is. lol
